1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and information from third-party services you connect.

• Account information: name, email address, profile image, and authentication details when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email (via Clerk).
• Style profile: fashion preferences, fit preferences, favorite brands and colors, style tags, age band, and other onboarding answers you choose to share.
• Wardrobe and media: photos of clothing, avatar or body photos you upload for virtual try-on, and related metadata we generate from those images.
• AI interactions: messages you send to the stylist, outfit requests, and generated try-on or styling results.
• Location (optional): approximate location or city, if you grant permission, to support weather-aware styling suggestions.
• Device and notifications: push notification tokens, timezone, and basic device/app information needed to deliver the Service.
• Usage and analytics: app screens viewed, feature usage, and similar product analytics (via PostHog) to improve Lydiana.
• Subscriptions: purchase and entitlement status for premium features (processed by Apple, Google, and Adapty). We do not store your full payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, personalize, and improve Lydiana’s styling, wardrobe, and try-on features.
• Process images and chat with AI providers so the stylist can digitize clothes, recommend outfits, and generate try-on looks.
• Authenticate your account, sync your data across devices, and remember your preferences.
• Send optional push notifications you enable (for example, styling reminders).
• Process subscriptions and manage premium access.
• Monitor performance, debug issues, prevent abuse, and understand how the app is used.
• Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. AI Processing

To power digitization, styling advice, and virtual try-on, we send relevant content you provide—such as clothing photos, avatar photos, chat messages, and style preferences—to AI service providers (currently Google Gemini). Those providers process the content to return results to Lydiana. Do not upload images or text you are not comfortable sharing with our service providers for this purpose.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Service providers: Clerk (authentication), Convex (database and file storage), Google (AI processing), Adapty (subscriptions), PostHog (analytics), Apple and Google (app distribution and in-app purchases), and Expo/related infrastructure.
• At your direction: for example, when you share a look using your device’s share sheet.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and the Service.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account, wardrobe, style profile, and related data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period, or as required for legal, security, or accounting purposes. Subscription records may also be retained by Apple, Google, or Adapty according to their policies.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

• Update profile details in the app.
• Control camera, photos, location, and notification permissions in your device settings.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Request account deletion from within the app or by contacting us at dev@buildlaunch.dev.
• Contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.

7. Children’s Privacy

Lydiana is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the app and/or on our website and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
